New Millennium is Hiring a Software Engineer Near Fort Wayne, IN
Develop and support the engineering and business systems used by New Millennium Building Systems.
Responsibilities:- Analyze business problems or challenges and propose software solutions.
- Review, analyze, and modify software applications including requirements gathering, documenting, coding, testing, debugging, and installing.
- Provide user support of software applications (including bug fixes, report writing, data alteration, etc.)
- Design and develop database schemas and programs/procedures.
Required
- BS Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
- 4 years of related experience
- Organization, Task Completion, Logical Thinking, Analysis
Preferred
- Full stack Windows application development in an enterprise environment with C# and the .NET Framework using a Service-Oriented Architecture.
- An understanding of MVVM, Domain-Driven Design, Design Patterns, Inversion of Control, Dependency Injection, and other software engineering concepts.
- Experience working with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
- A working understanding of SQL DML and DDL on Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong math skills (trigonometry, vector analysis, linear algebra). Structural or Civil Engineering knowledge highly desirable.
- Ability to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to lead and mentor Jr software engineers
