We are seeking an enthusiastic professional Advancement and Recruitment Specialist who is passionate about cultivating the school’s mission and objectives through student instruction, guidance, and review in order to ensure successful development of each student.
This position is a full-time position for the Raleigh County Campus and will report directly to the Department Manager. The position will work collaboratively with management, faculty and staff within the department and college to serve the best interests of the students.
Job Summary
The Advancement and Recruitment Specialist participates in the planning, direction, and administration of all aspects of recruiting and the admissions process for prospective and newly admitted students. The position is responsible for identifying, developing, nurturing, and sustaining strong relationships with community leaders and serves as an external liaison for the College with local, state, and regional organizations.
Nature of Work
The principal responsibility for all phases of the recruiting process, events planning, and assists with the development and implementation of the annual recruitment plan. This non-classified position reports to the campus Director & Community Outreach (RCC/NCC) and provides college wide oversight for planning and participating in meaningful recruitment events and activities with the goal of connecting with prospective students.

Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree preferred
Experience
In addition to the knowledge/education, the following related work experiences is typically required for this position. An equivalent combination of education and recent, related higher education, specifically community college experience may be acceptable in lieu of academic credentials.
Experience in Sales, Marketing, and Recruitment 2 years is required.
Experience in Philanthropy/Fundraising 1 year is preferred.
License or Certification
Valid Driver’s License is required
