New Story Schools is Hiring a Behavior Supervisor Near Virginville, PA

New Story School is a private licensed academic school that provides special education support for children up to the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with an emotional/behavioral disorder. Our multidisciplinary teams collaborate with families, school districts and community partners to empower children in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.
New Story Schools is currently seeking a Behavior Supervisor to join the administrative team at our Perkiomen, PA location. As a Behavior Supervisor, you will oversee behavior plan development in accordance with the Individual Education Plans (IEP's) and provide direction on behavior intervention/management to staff within the classroom setting.
Responsibilities And DutiesWork collaboratively with the Special Education Director and Clinical Director on behavioral and educational components within the school to ensure consistency between IEP and behavior plan goals.
Provide direction on appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques to maintain a safe and effective learning environment.
Utilize non-violent crisis intervention techniques as needed.
Participate in the IEP process by attending IEP meetings and working collaboratively with team members to develop behavior plan component of the IEP.
Review data collection/documentation, outcome reports, and behavior plans and make recommendations for ongoing behavior plan revisions.
Conduct training needs assessment and provide training to staff.
Communicate routinely with parents and encourage parental participation in the behavior plan.
Ensure special education teachers and all classroom staff adheres to appropriate behavioral practices.
Maintain a caseload of ABA consultation hours as needed.
Qualifications | What you’ll bring:
Master’s degree in education or human services field; AND Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a clinical capacity providing ABA services to children with disabilities.
