$10,000 sign on bonus for Carlisle. Pay range $50,000-$70,000 based on degree, certification level, and years of experience. RESPONSIBILITIES | WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
New Story School is an educational organization comprised of special education schools in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with autism or emotional/behavioral disorders. Our multidisciplinary teams collaborate with families, school districts, and community partners to empower children in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES | WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Special Education Teachers create and follow individualized education plans for our amazing students with special needs.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and assess student progress, adjusting your approach as needed to keep them on track.
- Collaborative Environment: Special Education Teachers work with support staff, including paraprofessionals and parents, to build a supportive and welcoming learning environment.
- Student Advocacy: Advocate for our students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with all necessary laws and regulations.
- Welcoming Classroom: Special Education Teachers foster a positive classroom where every student feels engaged and can succeed.
