New York Cancer and Blood Specialists is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) Near Manhattan, NY

Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island
New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a NP/PA to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Clinics from Southampton to NYC. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient 7-day per week Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department
In this role you will:
Manage health problems and coordinate health care for the Oncology/Hematology patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status).Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members.
We require:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure/ Physician’s Assistant License
  • 1 year of experience in Oncology/Hematology helpful
  • Strong computer skills, experience in EMR useful
Hours: Monday-Friday.
Salary up to $200,000/yr and benefits including Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1 of employment, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO time, 8 paid holidays (2 floating) and more.
