Description
PHYSICAL EFFORT WORK ENVIRONMENT (It is fast paced, a lot of walking, lift, moving pallets/skids, up/down stairs, etc.)
- Work is normally performed by driving delivery trucks, distributing goods and working in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, work in a variety of different positions and work from ladders at excessive heights.
- Stand on concrete floors for extended time period.
- Subject to dust and noise and the handling of some hazardous materials.
HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW
- Issue parts, equipment and supplies as needed.
- Ensure the security of all areas where supplies are stored.
- Maintain an inventory schedule of parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Receive, log-in and ship parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of parts, equipment and supplies.
- Schedule, load, unload, and complete delivery of items to the Districts, Headquarters and other designated locations.
Skill
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum age of 18 to apply
- Interest in parts, equipment and supplies.
- Capable of ensuring the security of areas where supplies are stored.
- Maintain an inventory schedule of parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Able to receive, log-in and ship parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Experience with scheduling, loading, unloading, and completing delivery of items to designated locations.
