Responsibilities:

Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims

Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies

Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business

Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping

Determine new customers insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible

Evaluate new customers insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations

Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintaining existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry responses, insurance eligibility, and questions concerning billing and insurance policies

Grow new business by generating a prospective client base via networking, asking for referrals, and other marketing strategies

Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, continuing education, and monitor insurance portfolios to ensure mutual satisfaction

Attend training and obtain relevant licenses in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred

Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite

Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelors degree is desired

Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently

Outgoing personality with the ability to develop relationships (i.e., People Person") and a sincere desire to help others
