We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Research Nurse to join our esteemed pulmonology research team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply clinical expertise and research skills to advance our understanding and treatment of pulmonary diseases. As an integral part of our team, you will coordinate and manage research projects in cystic fibrosis, asthma, COVID, and other pulmonary conditions, contributing to meaningful scientific discoveries in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:Education requirement: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
Licenses or certifications: Current RN or LPN license in the state of New York
Technical/computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research management software.
Prior experience: 2 years of clinical nursing experience, experience in pulmonary medicine a plus.
Other skills/requirements: Demonstrated experience in clinical research coordination or related roles, with a strong understanding of research methodologies and regulatory requirements.
Physical demands: Office work demands (desk work, walking short distances between offices, standing).
Environmental demands: Exposure to research subjects who may be actively ill. Research methodologies may include procedures with some mild level of risk, such as phlebotomy.
