New York Plastic Surgical Group is seeking a Part-Time Medical Scribe to join our practice!

*Schedule is Sunday-Monday and hours varies. Training will be in our NYC office for 1 week in person. After training the role is a remote position!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

• Medical Scribes ensure that all clinical data, lab or other test results, the interpretation of the results by the physician are recorded accurately in the medical record. Alert physician when chart is incomplete. Medical Scribes must comply with specific standards that apply to the style of medical records and to the legal and ethical requirements for preparing medical documents and for keeping patient information confidential.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Working toward a degree/certification in the medical field preferred
2. Training as a medical scribe preferred

Compensation: $16.00-$18.00
