The New York Post is currently seeking a Project Manager with 3 years of experience to join its Technology team. Our team is looking for an energetic and highly independent individual who is capable of working with multiple teams to gather requirements, create and manage project plans, communicate status and drive execution of cross-functional IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will be relied upon to independently manage projects driving quality results while managing to budget and schedule. Responsibilities include: Gathering business and technology requirements from project sponsors and stakeholders, assessing cross-functional technologies and dependencies Managing project resources including users, developers, engineers, designers, vendors and stakeholders. Project managing the team through scoping, design, implementation, and go-live including project communication regarding status, dependencies, risks, and issues Plan and schedule projects, identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths, develop and document workflows, create status reports for management, manage changes and issues. Drive QA for all projects including writing and maintaining documentation, performing testing and working with team members and stakeholders to perform and oversee testing. Perform as the main technology point of contact for specific areas of the business as assigned including company-wide technology rollouts. Perform operational support as assigned. Ensure effective operational support by working with NYP and Shared Service groups. Conducting workshops with vendors and internal teams to elicit and develop requirements, use cases, scenarios and workflows. Requirements: At least three years of project management experience, with a track record of managing small to mid-scale projects Advanced knowledge of Project Management software (Jira, Asana, Slack, Monday, etc) and Google Suite (G-Suite). Comfortable communicating with users and stakeholders, excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage time and juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines Interest in emerging technologies and trends Note: The New York Post adheres to a hybrid work model.
