The Director of Briefing Operations is a pivotal role within the Executive Operations team, providing leadership and strategic oversight for the Governor's briefing process. This position is responsible for managing the creation, solicitation, and delivery of all briefing materials to ensure the Governor is fully prepared for all engagements, meetings, and events. The Director of Briefing Operations will coordinate closely with internal teams, including advance, scheduling, and long-term planning, to maintain a high standard of excellence in briefing execution.
Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

- Strategic Coordination: Work collaboratively with the advance, scheduling, and policy teams to align briefing materials with the Governor’s priorities and policy objectives.
- Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of briefers across New York State, delegating assignments, setting deadlines, enforcing standards, and providing guidance on content and style.
- Feedback Integration: Facilitate the incorporation of the Governor’s feedback into
