Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer with Kubernetes, Bazel
Position Type: Contract position
Location: Hartford, CT
Job Description:
Must Have:
- Strong proficiency in Java, with a focus on data applications.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
- Proficient in using Bazel for build automation and testing.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services and tools.
- Experience in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating technical risks in data infrastructure.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in data management.
Good to have:
- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.
