Seeking to hire a Medical Assistant to work in our homebase location of Roslyn ( Monday to Friday ) and occasionally in our satellite locations.

New You Plastic Surgery is the practice of plastic surgeon, Dr. Jeremy Nikfarjam. It is a young and rapidly expanding plastic surgery practice. Our homebase is in the Roslyn area with a satellite location in Manhattan, Poughkeepsie, and New Jersey. The patient population and procedure types here are diverse! We serve patients from all over the tri-state area and throughout the country (and sometimes internationally ) for a range of plastic surgery procedures from cosmetic to functional with a few unique sub-specialties. The culture of the practice is vibrant, youthful, and innovative; our rapid expansion has required a fast and forward thinking mindset. Our patients appreciate that the physician and staff here are all kind, approachable, and eager to help.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in the medical field, but willing to train the right candidate
• Must be professional and courteous at all times
• Excellent customer service skills, friendly and energetic
• Must be efficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Some Tasks you will do:

• Assist physician with patient examinations and minor office procedures (suture removal , drain removal, set-up for minor surgeries, etc)
• Clean examination rooms
• Sterilize instruments after use
• Record patient and testing information
• Manage patient flow
• Prepare and log injectable’s
• Dressing changes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
