Job Description:

• Maintain working knowledge of protocol, manuals, data collection forms, and other study related documentation.
• Designs databases and data collection tools based on study protocols (e.g., case report forms, RED Cap collection forms etc.).
• Manages initial data collection and testing phases, as appropriate. Evaluates data quality and suggests approaches for data processing and cleaning to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Maintains Research applications and systems, including data setup, problem and data integrity resolution, regular review and renewals, workflow design, and software upgrades.
• Provides IS expertise pertaining to data collection and validation.
• Manages data related projects in support of ad-hoc and standing departmental requests.
• Collaborates with others to solve complex problems, developing new processes and methods to meet the ever-changing research informatics and data needs of researchers.
• Provides project management and support for collaborative work and major improvement initiatives.
• Participates in the development and implementation of electronic case report forms (eCRFs)
• Participates in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develops UAT plans, and reviews UAT findings.
• Create and manage RED Cap databases for research studies, including designing data entry forms and surveys, and setting up user access and permissions.
• Monitor data quality and perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
• Provide end user support of RED Cap, including creation and management of user accounts, approving user requests for database changes, responding to user questions, and communicating best practices.
• Collaborates with internal and external clinicians and staff to document, analyze, and translate their needs into technical designs and informatics solutions.
• Establishes a system of applications and tools to record, organize, store, secure and access research data.

Experience:

• 3-5years of experience in research data management is preferred including experience using RED Cap for research data collection and management.
• REDCap knowledge and project setup experience.
• Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R)

Skills required:

• Microsoft Word, Teams, Outlook, Excel, RED Cap or other survey tools.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Work hours:

• Monday-Friday,9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
• Lunch time -1hour(unpaid)
