We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Guest Service Associate to join our team at SpringHill Suites Prince Frederick. The Guest Service Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon arrival and check them in using the hotel's computer system
- Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Assist guests with luggage and provide directions to their rooms
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Process guest check-outs and collect payments
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained
- Assist with breakfast service and other food and beverage offerings
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel computer systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
