Job Description:

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 4-8 years of experience to join an esteemed insurance coverage and defense litigation firm located in El Segundo, California. As an associate, you will play a pivotal role in handling a wide range of litigation matters, with a focus on insurance disputes. While defense litigation experience is preferred, we are open to applications from candidates with backgrounds outside of insurance law who possess a strong litigation background and a passion for learning.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of defense litigation experience (open to applications with backgrounds outside of insurance law)
• Federal court experience
• Well-versed in all aspects of pre-trial litigation (including but not limited to pleadings, discovery, law and motion practice, and depositions)
• Experience handling both first and third-party insurance disputes an asset
• Strong willingness and ability to handle day-to-day aspects of cases and client relationships
