NPG of Idaho (Local News 8, KIDK CBS 3 & FOX 5) is looking for an experienced HR Coordinator/Business Analyst. This position is responsible for coordinating the human resources and financial functions of this multi-station operation and is supported by a corporate office.
Responsibilities:
Human Resource responsibilities will include acting as the onsite Human Resource liaison between station employees and Corporate HR, assisting in employee matters when necessary, collection and submission of payroll information to corporate HR, onboarding new hires to include policies and benefits overview, coordinating performance reviews, posting and EEO tracking of all open positions utilizing an ATS to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, as well as performing various other HR-related duties as needed.
Business Analyst duties will include assisting the corporate controllers with financial analysis, monthly closings and year end audit schedules. Other duties would include managing cash, assisting in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, calculation of and the review & coding of invoices. This position will also review credit applications, resolve client billing inquiries and supervise the collections of delinquent accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will also partner with the general manager and department heads to look for opportunities to improve the financial performance. The ultimate objective is to provide accurate, consistent and timely financial information to the managers and owners of NPG of Idaho which includes six TV signals, and a robust digital presence.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or Accounting and 3-5 years’ work-related experience and/or training preferably within the media industry. Other requirements include excellent Excel skills, adherence to HIPAA/confidentiality compliance, knowledge of state and federal employment statutes, the ability to write reports and design business correspondence, and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, internal and external customers, and the general public. The successful candidate must have a valid Idaho driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, possess adequate vehicle insurance, and pass a drug test and background check.
