**Accounts Payable Specialist**

**Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

**Duties:**

- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently

- Perform reconciliations of accounts payable transactions

- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

- Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors as needed

- Assist with month-end closing processes

- Generate financial reports related to accounts payable activities

**Experience:**

- Proven experience in general ledger accounting and journal entries

- Knowledge of tax principles related to accounts payable

- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes

**Skills:**

- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices

- Excellent organizational skills to manage a high volume of transactions

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams
