Title:- Data Analyst (Only W2 or SCorp)
Location:- Irving TX & Tampa FL (Hybrid Role)
Experience- Need At least 10 Years
Role Description:
Experience in data centric projects and a willingness to transition into the field of data modeling. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of banking operations, and a keen interest in data management and modeling.
Responsibilities:
1. Domain Understanding: Contribute your comprehensive understanding of banking operations and regulatory reporting to effectively model data within these domains.
2. Data Analysis: Utilize your expertise in data analysis to identify data requirements, analyze and map metadata, ask the right questions to clarify, understand and best represent banking domain data.
3. Model Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize, design, and implement data models that capture the relationships and business rules inherent in banking processes and transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in banking or data management is a plus.
- Proven experience in data analysis or business analysis within the banking sector, with a strong understanding of banking sector products like credit cards, retail banking, wealth management etc and associated processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data models and technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and methodologies, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- Familiarity with SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases. Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin are extremely advantageous.
- Prior experience working on data centric projects alongside data architects and modelers or working with Transactional databases, data warehouses, big-data platforms and reporting tools like Tableau is a big plus.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and scripting. Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Hive is a plus.
