Join NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) where nurses are patient advocates in the truest form. Following complex and rarely seen surgeries, we provide pain management, clinical assessment and vital information for multidisciplinary colleagues. Approximately 70–90 patients are admitted to the PACU each day. We experience a particularly high case mix index because of our reputation for quality and care. From the first successful pediatric heart transplant to the world's first center for orthopedic surgery, we've historically led the way. Today, our PACU nurses' mastery continues to set standards for post-operative care.

Clinical Nurse - 8pm to 8:30am - PACU - Columbia University Irving Medical Center

The hours are from 8pm to 8:30am and this position is located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, including rotating weekends and alternating holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, or critical care experience

Required Criteria

• At least 1 year RN experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)

• BCLS Certification

• ACLS Certification
