A leader in high-tech computerized diagnostic and treatment methods, the Weill Cornell Medicine Brain and Spine team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital treats the full spectrum of neurological disease — from brain tumors, spine tumors; stroke, aneurysms and cerebrovascular disorders and epilepsy to Parkinson's disease, MS, and other movement disorders.

Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery - Full-Time

As a Neurosurgery PA at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, you will manage all aspects of care for patients on the neurosurgical team, including floor management of complex inpatients, responding to neurosurgical emergencies including trauma and stroke, and first assisting in the OR.

This is a full-time position rotating days, nights, and weekend coverage.

Preferred Criteria

-Neurosurgical experience preferred

Required Criteria

-Bachelors or Masters in Physician Assistant related studies

-NYS PA Licensure -Current NCCPA Certification

-ACLS/BLS

-NYS Infection Control certification

-DEA and NYS Opioid Prescriber Training Certification
