NexMetro Communities is Hiring an Investor Relations Analyst Near Phoenix, AZ

NexMetro is an innovative real estate developer that is revolutionizing how consumers think about housing. We are seeking an Investor Relations Analyst who is either entry-level or has up to three years of experience to help ensure an excellent experience for our investors.

NexMetro is one of the nation’s largest single-family rental community developers, specializing in building communities for consumers seeking a home that rents like an apartment but lives like a single family house. NexMetro develops single family rental communities marketed under the name Avilla Homes. Avilla neighborhoods combine the benefits of luxury residential single-family living with the convenience, flexibility, and professional on-site management of a Class A apartment community. The result is a new residential hybrid housing option, detached single story homes in prime suburban locations that are highly differentiated from traditional rental products. Founded in 2012 and a pioneer in the space, NexMetro has over $2.5 billion underway, in development, or completed, comprised of over 55 properties spanning locales from Arizona to Florida. Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Support our overall investor relations efforts in partnership with other senior team members and the Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets
  • Audit, update, and maintain investor data and information in our investor portal, including uploading and distributing documents to our LP investors and interfacing with investor portal software company (Juniper Square) for troubleshooting and enhancements.
  • Respond to information requests from investors regarding onboarding, reporting, statements, and use of investor portal.
  • Research, collect, and compile data. Keep databases and documents organized and accurate to facilitate investor reporting and internal information needs.
  • Help prepare monthly and quarterly investor reports and information for our management reporting.
  • Track significant investor-related information, including communications, follow-up, key dates, competitor information, etc.
  • As requested, support the preparation of investor presentations and other collateral that clearly communicate the unique features of our investments and offerings.
  • Partner with other departments, such as legal, accounting, and finance, on investor-related matters – i.e., distributions, investments, etc. —and ensure adherence to company and department protocols.
  • Support the team and cover responsibilities for other team members as requested.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Summary of Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • One to three years of experience in a similar or related role; work at a real estate or other alternative investment management firm a plus
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong time and work management skills.
  • The ability to work across multiple software platforms, transferring and updating data (previous work with CRM systems or investor onboarding and reporting tools a plus).
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel in particular).
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with many different work styles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to continuously prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of flexibility and a high level of focus on quality, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Resourceful and motivated to find outside-the-box solutions to everyday client issues.
  • The commitment to independently complete tasks to reach the organization’s and clients' goals
