Role: Mobility Support EngineerLocation: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)Position SummaryThe Conferencing Support and Mobile Solutions Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our conference room technologies and mobile device management. This role is tailored for a proactive individual who has a robust understanding of audio-visual (AV) and mobile device technologies. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing the conference support calendar, handling mobile phone requests, and providing exceptional technical and customer support. DescriptionKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES% ofTimeConferencing And Mobility Management
Provide technical support for conference room AV equipment, ensuring seamless operation during meetings and events, to include, but not limited to, connecting video calls, loading, supporting and projecting PowerPoint Presentations to projectors and large screens; understanding, managing and supporting White Board technology with projected image; understanding and managing Video conferencing systems and equipment.
Coordinate and maintain the conference support calendar of events, ensuring all technical needs are met and scheduled appropriately.
Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of video conferencing systems, primarily Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Provide backend support for Video Conferencing systems, as needed, including updating systems and configuration changes
Assist and instruct Carlyle employees and junior GTS-team members regarding proper usage and operation of AV equipment
Complete requests and tasks from ServiceNow ticketing system
Troubleshoot, repair, set up, and configure telephone and/or telephony system
Travel to other sites as needed
Manage mobile phone requests, including the processing of new requests, changes, and terminations in accordance with company policies.
Ensure compliance with mobile device program enhancements, including message archiving, supervision, and application restrictions.
Guide employees and contractors through the mobile device request process, including BYOD and Carlyle-issued devices.
Collaborate with the team to maintain and update mobile device request forms and workflows.
Provide instructions and support for returning mobile devices, including data wipe and device configuration.

Repair or clean equipment whenever necessary to ensure optimal functionality.
Regularly maintain and inventory all VC Equipment to ensure everything is up to date and functioning as expected.
Promptly identify any broken equipment and communicate its status to your manager or supervisor for further action.
Conduct equipment preventative maintenance and room checks to all conference rooms, adhering to the criteria outlined in the conference room checklists.
Track and record all portable equipment and supplies, ensuring that accurate inventory records are maintained.
Keep the inventory and operational status of all equipment up to date.
Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in conference support and mobile device management to enhance our operational capabilities.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in AV support and mobile device management.
Experience operating audio/video equipment, including operation of Crestron control systems, Polycom microphone and camera equipment, Extron switchers and various methods of connecting to and displaying content on to LCD display panels.
Strong knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other video conferencing technologies.
Familiarity with mobile device management platforms and compliance requirements.
General technical proficiency with Windows 10 and Mac OS X desktops and laptops, Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
Proficient in setting up and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.
Skilled in supporting AirPlay and Chromecast technologies to enable efficient and seamless content sharing across devices.
Experience connecting to and troubleshooting TCP/IP configurations.
Familiarity with various connectivity options common in conference room facilities such as HDMI, VGA, and display port
Basic to advanced proficiency in MS Office productivity suite, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom, MS Teams, Facetime, Cisco WebEx, Polycom RealPresence Platform, and other web-based video conferencing tools.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to carry out responsibilities with little supervision.
Proven ability to provide exceptional service and support for executive meetings, emphasizing professionalism and sense of urgency.
