NexRev, LLC is Hiring a Senior NetSuite Administrator Near Plano, TX

Position Description: Senior NetSuite Administrator

Working Location: Plano, TX; 75074 (On-Site)

Employment Status: Full-Time Regular

Required Education: Relevant Position Specific Experience or Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience: Minimum 4 to 7 years’ experience

Travel Required: Minimal; 0 to 5%

Compensation: $140k to $170k Base salary; 10% Bonus

Primary Duties:

NetSuite Administrator manages all aspects of our company’s B2B NetSuite environment including integrations and operation of non-Oracle applications and modules, as well as third-party contractor relationships with NetSuite environment specific consultants. The Administrator manages project initiatives necessary to expand ERP platform capability while regularly improving the processing efficiency of our daily work among functional areas and across the enterprise, making maximum use of automated task processing triggered naturally from the successful completion of a recurring operational task. Incumbent will provide technical/thought leadership and counsel in executive discussion of NetSuite related implementation/proposals of new platform processing capabilities enabling our company to efficiently expand on lines of business we seek to capture. This role is a strategic addition to our finance team and will work closely with a variety of people from most of our company’s functional areas. This is not a role for a quiet/shy desk bound type of person. The incumbent will engage regularly with most of the 50 members of our Plano office team, teaching new skills to old dogs and championing improved utilization of the platform – quite literally bringing fire to a new village.

Our NetSuite platform has been in place since Fall 2019 when we transitioned from QuickBooks Enterprise, and includes:

· NetSuite ERP

· CRM

· SuitePeople w/Payroll (Ceridian payroll)

· Field Service (Remote Field Service; handheld time/expense entry to projects)

· SuiteProjects

· Work Orders & Assemblies

· Job Costing

· Advanced Revenue Management

· Fixed Asset Management

· SuiteAnalytics

· NetGain’s NetLease (ASC 842 compliance)

· Ring Central (call center operations / automated case creation)

· Avalara (integrated multi-state sales / use tax)

· RF-Smart (inventory / handheld scanning; remote inventory management)

· EBiz Charge (credit card processing)

· Expensify (expense report processing)

· NetSuite Learning Cloud; Company Pass

· Two instances; Sandbox and Production

See ‘NetSuite Platform Current Events’ for a description of imminent NetSuite related projects at NexRev, and their approximate timelines. The incumbent will report to the VP Finance & Administration or his/her designee, and the two will coordinate closely on recurring projects/analytical tasks as well as weekly discussions on longer-term project priorities.

General Requirements:

  • Must enjoy and be energized by working with people, can communicate effectively, and have a business technology and/or accounting background.
  • Possess a strong ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and be able to apply a solid understanding of accounting principles as they underpin our work.
  • Authorized to work in the USA; we’re an E-Verify shop.
  • Must pass a criminal background check / drug screening.

Skill Requirements:

  • 4 to 7 years of first-chair NetSuite Administrator experience preferably in a SaaS (software-as-a-service) business or a NetSuite focused consultancy where candidate would have developed a broad portfolio of NetSuite implementation/remediation skills and experiences, specifically inclusive of SaaS/SuiteBilling experiences. Technical accounting experience, specifically complex revenue recognition, is a considerable plus.
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience administering an integration platform or comparable experience in a consultancy shop where candidate would have developed a similar set of integration related skills (i.e. Mulesoft/Boomi/Celigo).
  • At least one active NetSuite certification as either an Administrator or Developer/Consultant. Suitescript, JavaScript, HTML, etc. Suitelets/Portlets, etc. Incumbent will independently architect, develop and code processing improvements on our NetSuite platform.
  • Highly organized with relentless attention to detail and a calm, clear, thoughtful and data driven bias to action.
  • Common-sense approach connected to good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Plain spoken. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A doer and working manager with a roll-up your sleeves personality and a happy warrior attitude who can add value daily across the enterprise.
  • Brings fire to a new village: teaching NetSuite centric job skills to a user population, many of whom have only lightly used a modern ERP solution and have shallow background regarding how it’s supposed to function.
  • Military backgrounds are strongly encouraged/preferred

NexRev is a great group of people to work with and your lively and durable sense of humor will be very much appreciated here. Ongoing continuing professional education is a requirement for this role and NexRev is supportive of providing formalized NetSuite sponsored training to enhance and develop the incumbent’s professional skillset.

NetSuite Platform Current Events:

  • We’re actively expanding our business to include SaaS products in addition to our more common ‘completed contract’ product offerings. Commencing in the next 90 days, we’ll implement NetSuite’s SuiteBilling application enabling reliable multi-performance obligation invoicing and reporting of the first product in a family of SaaS products we’ve recently developed. We’ll use an outside integrator to accomplish this collection of implementation tasks and incumbent will be the NexRev-side quarterback for this project.
  • Also in the next 90 days, we’ll choose and implement an integration platform application to facilitate the reliably repeatable transfer of transaction data from non-NetSuite applications to/from NetSuite platform applications (i.e. via Mulesoft/Boomi/Celigo). The incumbent will play a large part in our choice of this application and in partnership with both internal and external consulting resources, will see to it that it’s successfully implemented and functional on time.
  • Incumbent shall immediately undertake preparatory configuration hygiene and processing improvements to the legacy NetSuite platform necessary to enable successful implementations of both SuiteBilling and the selected integration platform applications, seeing to their ongoing reliable function.

Benefits:

  • $140k to $170k Base salary; 10% Bonus
  • Awesome work / life balance; expect a 50-hour work week
  • Flexible, family-oriented environment
  • Paid company holidays, PTO and vacations
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance plans
  • 401k Plan with a company paid match
