Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join a team for a 13- week contract in Waco, TX. This position requires a strong understanding of ICU protocols, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional patient care in a 1:1-3 staffing ratio, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implement treatment plans, and adjust as necessary.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and perform other procedures as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
