Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need within our community.

Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity
- Provide direct support and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Implement dementia care techniques for those in need
- Be capable of heavy lifting when required
- Work with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Provide home and community-based care

Qualifications:
- Experience in direct support or related fields such as nursing or senior care is preferred
- Ability to perform ADLs and provide personal care with empathy and respect
- Proficiency in meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus
- Comfortable with heavy lifting tasks as needed
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is beneficial

Pay: $14.48 - $15.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
