Established owner/manager is seeking a new Leasing Director in Brooklyn to oversee a 1300 unit portfolio comprised of market rate and rent stabilized units. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands on experience as an on-site leasing professional, overseeing leasing operations of at least 1000 units. This role will be responsible for making strategic pricing and marketing suggestions, ensuring the site teams are providing an elite experience for potential renters and existing tenants, and working to achieve metrics and leasing targets for the properties in their portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and oversee all leasing operations, marketing, and pricing for a portfolio of over 1300 residential units.
• Develop and lead leasing teams, implementing metrics and KPIs, and providing training and mentorship to in-house leasing consultants and managers.
• Oversee all leasing-renewal pricing, rent rolls, lease applications, concessions, and new rents, coordinating with leadership for final approval.
• Conduct frequent property visits to perform walkthroughs, evaluate leasing activity, and assess site staff performance.
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing initiatives, including marketing campaigns and broker blast distribution lists for assigned portfolio.
• Identify loss leaders and strategically market units to drive traffic to properties.
• Track leasing activity, including traffic, traffic conversion, new applications, renewals, retention, year-over-year rent increases, and other leasing-related activities.
• Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on all leasing activity to leadership and ownership.
• Assist on-site operations teams with building walkthroughs, inspecting renovated units, and reviewing vacancies to ensure readiness for new move-ins.
• Support site teams with all leasing functions during peak seasons to effectively manage increased building traffic and tours.
• Develop and execute resident retention programs.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years of experience in on-site leasing, with at least 2 years managing a team.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the NYC residential market.
• Valid NY real estate license.
• Experience using Yardi is preferred.
• Experience leasing in a multi-site portfolio.
• Ability to work weekends when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
