Position Title: Assistant Nurse Manager - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Location: Newark, DE

Salary: $102,000.00 - $151,000.00

Shift Information:

• Full-Time, Monday-Friday
• Day Shift (starts at 6:30 am)
• On-call responsibilities and Holiday obligation as per department guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Nurse Manager in overseeing daily clinical practice and nursing care delivery
• Share 24-hour responsibility for operational activities
• Supervise nursing and technical staff, assess staff proficiency, and coordinate staffing needs
• Participate in hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, and terminations
• Serve as a role model, fostering staff development and supporting strategic goals
• Mentor staff, identify potential future leaders, and engage in succession planning
• Analyze and implement administrative and operational improvements

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Nursing (Masters required within 5 years)
• RN license
• Operating Room experience
• 5 years of clinical and leadership experience
• CNOR certification (or must obtain within 6 months of start date)
• Preferred:
• Experience in Cardiovascular and Vascular surgeries
