The EMT/ER is responsible for performing receptionist and clerical duties to support the overall operating efficiency and effective communication within the Emergency Room department. Key responsibilities include:

• Supply Management:
• Order supplies and troubleshoot supply issues as needed.
• Stock and maintain supplies in patient care areas.
• Troubleshoot and escalate supply chain issues when necessary.
• Facility Maintenance:
• Clean and disinfect patient care areas and equipment.
• Manage all clinical waste to ensure proper disposal.
• Clinical Support:
• Perform basic prescribed standard non-invasive cardiovascular procedures in accordance with department policies.
• Customer Service:
• Attend to customers and answer telephones in a courteous and timely manner.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and the pharmacist.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience or training in non-invasive cardiology procedures.

Licenses and Certificates Required:

• License: AK CNA license OR EMT-1 national certification.
• Certificates: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
