Covid Vaccine Requirement: COVID vaccination or a medical/religious exemption is required Job Responsibilities:As an Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:
Evaluating patients' functional abilities and limitations to determine if intervention is needed. Establishing a comprehensive plan of care and treatment goals within the department's established time frame.
Identifying and prioritizing key limiting factors affecting the patient. Setting treatment goals that are functional, measurable, patient-related, and reflect these key limiting factors.
Collaborating with patients and their families/caregivers when setting goals and initiating discharge planning. Recommending additions to or modifications of referring orders as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with experience in stroke, upper extremity, and post-surgical care.
Licensure: Must hold an Alaska state license prior to starting.
Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) and Hand Therapy Certification.
