Shift Information:
- Shift Length: 12-hour nights
- On-call Requirement: As needed
- Holiday Requirement: Per unit needs
Compensation:
- Base Hourly Pay: $36.42-$60.33 based on overall years of experience as an RN
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000-$15,000 retention bonus
- 401K and medical insurance
- Relocation assistance and temporary housing available
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Review patient history and physical with patient/family and ensure completion within the appropriate timeframe.
- Review available information obtained by other healthcare team members and analyze diagnostics and laboratory data.
- Report abnormal results to physicians and other appropriate caregivers.
- Complete assessments and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
- Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family, and health team input.
- Initiate a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and the medical plan of care.
- Set realistic and measurable goals for the patient in conjunction with the patient and family.
- 1 year of experience as a PEDS RN (PICU RN experience will also be considered)
- Must possess an AK RN license prior to starting
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
