Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hours per week, Days

Salary: $32 to $53 per hour

Overview:

We continue our expansion with a new state-of-the-art patient tower, we are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our team in Round Rock, Texas. This role offers the chance to significantly impact patient care and outcomes within our growing healthcare community. The new facility will feature advanced medical technologies and increased capacities for critical departments, enhancing our ability to serve the evolving needs of our population.

Job Description:

The Wound Care RN will specialize in assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with wound care needs, including those with chronic wounds, surgical incisions, and acute injuries. This position requires a compassionate approach and a high level of clinical expertise in wound management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient conditions and develop individualized plans of care for complex wound management.
  • Implement appropriate wound care treatment strategies and monitor outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care processes, prevention, and management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance wound care practices and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in wound care.

Certifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
