Nextedge is Hiring an AP/AR Analyst Near Alpharetta, GA

Summary/ObjectiveThe AP/AR Analyst is responsible for day-to-day company accounting practices. This includes Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Expense Accounts, Bank/Cash Management, Purchase Orders, and certain aspects of Inventory, Supplies, and Support Staff Procurement. In addition, they will assist the Accounting & Finance Management team with data collection for audits, corporate reconciliation requests, and certain reports necessary to complete the month-end close process. They will also assist Project Managers and company leadership with certain support tasks. Each team member should know all duties listed, but will likely concentrate on a specific/different sub-set.
Essential Functions
  • Accurately process timely entry of incoming vendor & subcontractor billings in accounting software system. (AP)
  • Accurately process timely entry of outgoing customer invoicing in accounting software systems. (AR)
  • Assist in processing corporate purchase card transactions & employee expense reports.
  • Accurately process timely entry of incoming remittances.
  • Research and resolve invoice and/or billing issues & discrepancies. 
  • Address vendor & customer inquiries. Communicate with vendors & customers to resolve billing & invoicing discrepancies.
  • Assists with monthly & year-end close deliverables & audit materials.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel, Teams, & Outlook.
  • Good oral and written communication skills: Required communication with Management, Employees and Vendors via phone and email.
Work Environment
  • Work indoors in an office setting with other team members.
  • Option to work from home, but able to come into an office as necessary.
  • Persistently attend scheduled online meetings (MS Teams).

  • Associates degree or better.
