Position Specific DescriptionOur NextEra Energy Transmission (NEET) Operations Department is looking for a Principal Compliance Analyst - CIP to join their team. In this role, your primary duties will be to provide technical analysis, oversight, and on-going support for NextEra Energy Transmission operating companies to identify and meet state, federal and independent system operator compliance obligations.
This position will have an emphasis on applicable NERC/CIP cyber security requirements for bulk electric system, cyber systems, and assets, including substations and control centers. You will work in close coordination with the operations team, NextEra enterprise information technology, system control and business management teams.
This position requires overnight and multi-day travel to NEET’s Trans Bay Cable facilities, other NEET offices, and NextEra Energy Corporate and Data Centers in Florida. Office location will be based out of Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Jupiter, FL; Juno Beach, FL or Miami, FL depending on the candidate selected.Preferred Experiences

• 5 years experience in cyber-security compliance, information technology architecture, or utility compliance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 3 years building and executing a NERC CIP compliance program
• Information Technology and/or Energy Management System architecture experience
• Lead role experience with a NERC regional entity or a regional transmission organization
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
