NextGen Retail Solutions is Hiring a Business Development Manager Near Rancho Cucamonga, CA

JOB PURPOSE

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and expanding the company's market presence. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic partnerships. The Business Development Manager will lead initiatives to increase revenue, achieve sales targets, and foster innovation within the organization.

As a Business Development Manager, your mission is to lead a sales team who is the face of our company in the field, forging lasting relationships with clients and driving revenue growth. Operating both in and beyond the confines of the office, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, while nurturing existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Those individuals with prior experience in the Office Supply, Janitorial & Sanitation, Office Furniture or other facility programs (restrooms, breakroom, maintenance, etc.) would be the most successful.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Acquisition & Supervision: Actively supervise and participate in prospecting efforts to generate leads and expand the customer base. Engage with potential clients through meetings, presentations, and networking events.
  • Sales Development Oversight: Develop and implement strategic sales plans under your supervision to meet and exceed sales targets. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our products or services and their value to clients.
  • Market Insights Management: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide valuable insights and adapt sales strategies. Report findings and recommendations to the sales leadership team.
  • Relationship Building & Mentorship: Lead efforts to establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Understand their unique needs and ensure our solutions align with their business objectives.
  • Product Knowledge: Foster a deep understanding of our products or services among team members to effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
  • Field Reporting & Review: Regularly review and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and market feedback. Provide detailed reports and analysis to the sales leadership team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a cohesive customer experience and alignment with company objectives.
  • Customer Education: Supervise efforts to effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products or services, equipping clients with the information they need to make informed decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience and proven success either in field sales or leadership of teams selling our key categories: Office Supplies, Janitorial & Sanitation, Office Furniture and other key facility programs (restrooms, breakrooms, etc) with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative, personal accountability, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must possess and demonstrate superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving sales environment.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
