Overview
The production/sales technical support position backs up the production scheduler in absence of primary. Also, is technical support liaison for production and sales department.
· Responsible for helping interpret drawings for customer expectations.
· Ensure drawings match and assign drawing to item master
· Generates sales order backlogs
· Work with Engineering and IT to update the configurator to address unique customer needs, minimize the amount of hand mark-ups (reduce human error)
· Responsible for checking for open internal job orders, also ensures job orders are released and closed.
· Assist when needed with remakes for production
· Assist with inventory control
· Responsible for SFM tact time section and assist in leveling the times for each station to more accurately depict out production capability for volume, thus the scheduler will achieve improved accuracy
· Configures complicated heathers for the sales department
· Troubleshoot issues with Made to Manage by communicating with IT Department.
· Check for available material and assign part numbers to materials
· Support production by printing job orders and updating Job Order date in case of change.
· Complete engineer change request (ECR)
· Responsible for testing new and improved materials
· Make sure obsolete revision level and materials are set at current revision level in item master.
· Main communication between sales and production
· Back up to scheduler position
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of computer networking, Linux, and computer management.
- Proficiency in Jira and Remedy.
- Experience with computer hardware and software, including Office applications.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with computer networking and computer hardware.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
