Sanitation Supervisor Opportunity at a Leading Food Industry Facility

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to oversee comprehensive sanitation operations at our state-of-the-art facility. The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of our sanitation programs and SOPs, ensuring compliance with all company standards, as well as federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in sanitation within the food industry, with supervisory experience highly desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email); bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, CIP, and various sanitation methods.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated sense of urgency and excellent time management abilities.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage sanitation procedures and schedules to ensure impeccable cleanliness of the plant and equipment.
• Lead, train, and supervise sanitation staff on effective cleaning practices, ensuring all tasks meet strict deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain inventory and manage the purchasing of sanitation supplies.
• Coordinate with management and food safety teams to enhance sanitation strategies and practices.
• Monitor compliance with food safety and health regulations, participating in audits and ensuring proper use of sanitation equipment and chemicals.
