Job Title : Cobol / DB2System Specialist IV

Location : Salem OR(Remote)

Duration : Long TermContract

• Provide JCL development relatedto mainframe work.
• Provide CICS developmentrelated to mainframe work.
• Provide coding toaccess DB2 DBMS.
• Conduct reverse engineeringof current state systems.
• Create current stateand future state process documentation.
• Use avariety of information gathering techniques (e.g. interviewsfacilitation diagrams) to gather define and document complexbusiness data requirements from business teams.
• Identify areas for improvement in currentsystems.
• Conduct document and present impactanalyses.
• Create and managerequirements.
• Create and support the creationof functional specifications for data models customizationsextracts and reports.
• Create implementationdocumentation and support the implementation process.
• Develop design changes in the asset management softwareand development and testing environments and collaborateintegration into the existing business production environment withthe rest of the team.
• Plan and support datacleanup activities.
• Prepare test dataimplement and support test activities including the creation oftest plans and test cases test enhancements and trackresults.
• Plan and support user acceptancetesting.
• Coordinate with other team members toreach project milestones and deadlines.
• Engageand build strong working relationships with IT businesspartners.
• Conduct remote training (forbusiness and technical audiences).
• Troubleshoot issues determine causes and provide optionsfor fixing the issues.
• Experience withmainframe technologies like JCL CICS COBOL (mandatory)
• Ability to create software design documentation(mandatory)
• DB2 skills with SQL understanding(mandatory)
• Business analysis requirementsgathering (desirable)
• Strong communicationskills (desirable)
• Testing of design anddevelopment (desirable)
• Familiarity with datascience tools such as Python
• Ability to workremotely
• Ability to complete work withoutdirect supervision
• Familiarity with automatingprocesses
