Overview: The Program Manager will be responsible for leading and managing complex programs within the SME Manager Group 1. This role demands a highly experienced individual with a minimum of 10 years of program management experience and a PMP certification. The Program Manager will oversee all aspects of program planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations, particularly in the context of national cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement program strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with (Department of Homeland Security)DHS's cybersecurity mission.

• Lead and manage a team of project managers and other program staff in delivering cybersecurity projects.

• Oversee program budget, resources, and performance metrics to ensure efficient and effective program execution.

• Ensure compliance with PMI standards and best practices in project management.

• Monitor and report on program progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership.

• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including federal agencies, private sector partners, and other key collaborators.

• Drive continuous improvement in program management processes to enhance DHS's cyber defense capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing programs, preferably within the cybersecurity or federal government sector.

• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex programs.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity policies and DHS's cyber mission.
