Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and support the development of the chemical, mechanical, and electrical systems that govern our chemical manufacturing process. This role will also be responsible for building out standard engineering processes that are scalable and repeatable at multiple remote facilities throughout the United States.
This role will be responsible for managing all process and design engineering disciplines to align priorities with the business goals.
This role reports to Nexus Circular's Director of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multi-discipline team of engineers (chemical, mechanical, electrical) to efficiently deliver process designs to support our manufacturing process.
• Oversee technical staff with a hands-on attitude, emphasizing creativity, empowerment, teamwork, process consistency and continuous improvement
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Implement and monitor technical strategy performance metrics
• Oversee priorities and activities of Electrical Engineering group, including logic, controls, and instrumentation.
• Manage local Capital Projects with local engineering team
• Manage Atlanta CapEx budget and activities
• Help implement and manage PSM programs both locally and at new sites being brought online.
• Experience in continuous process manufacturing in all the following project phases: Requirement's documentation, detailed design generation, implementation, system integration, testing and on-site startup, using PSM (Process Safety Management) elements and Industrial standards.
• Develop compliance standards to ensure standardization across multiple facilities.
• Participate in the review of Management of Changes, PHA Action Requests, Construction Information Requests, and Change Order Requests.
• Potential to travel to other Nexus locations as required (~10%)

Minimum Requirements:

• BS in Engineering
• 10 years relevant experience
• 7 years previous experience managing multi-discipline engineering team
• 5 years in Project Management. PMP certification a plus.
