The Recruiting Coordinator at Nexus Engineering Group plays a crucial role in delivering a professional and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. This role involves managing job postings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and maintaining accurate candidate records. The coordinator will support various recruitment initiatives, including campus recruiting and job fairs, while ensuring compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will be organized, adept at multitasking, and experienced with recruitment software and social media recruiting.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide a highly professional and positive experience to all candidates and hiring managers.
  • Create and manage new job postings.
  • Screen resumes and applications for potential job candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens with potential candidates.
  • Send out assessments to candidates and review results with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist in sourcing candidates and building pipelines of top-quality candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or other relevant databases.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Nexus hiring managers and external recruitment agencies.
  • Conducts reference checks.
  • Support campus recruiting efforts and Nexus intern program.
  • Attends career fairs and other campus events as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Experience with social media recruiting and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Highly organized and ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • At least 3-year work experience (required); Recruiting/Talent Acquisition related experience in the engineering industry (preferred)
