Nexus Staff is Hiring a Business Development Manager Near Melville, NY
- Sell-to and sell-with new channel partners. Drive channel adoption and channel client sales opportunities
- Develop Proof of Concept Use Cases with end-user customers in key markets in coordination with channel partners
- Work with multiple divisions for sales planning and coordinate the sale of AMLOS.
- Capture market traction without introducing internal sales territory and compensation conflict
- Facilitate the internal onboarding processes for both organizations, including Finance, Sales Operations, Marketing, etc.
- Familiarity with the enterprise collaboration landscape, including unified communications, collaboration, video conferencing, video endpoint, audio, AI, and hybrid collaboration solutions
- Familiarity with the evolving hybrid workplace and remote worker solutions
- A broad familiarity with related technology tower solutions and inter-dependencies, including cloud hosting and delivery, network, edge computing, security, analytics would be useful but not essential
- Familiarity with the delivery mechanisms for technology solutions, including hosted self-serve, managed services, consulting, business process outsourcing, etc.
- Familiarity with channel ecosystem, including system integration, value added resale, affiliate, partner alliance, white label, etc.
- An existing network of client and partner relationships in the collaboration/modern workplace, unified communication vertical is desired
- Experience building partner, channel and client relationships
- Unified communications space, collaboration tools, teams integration, conferencing rooms space setups experience is required
- Ability to sell effectively across a complex set of stakeholders
- Experience with program and project planning, prioritization, and collaboration for large scale global initiatives
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to tailor a presentation to the audience
- Credibility to influence and build solution concepts centered around business outcomes
- Experience in Marketing & Demand Generation, Sales Enablement, Learning & Development, Program/Project Management, and/or Strategic Consulting
- Understanding of CRM and PRM Systems
- Understanding of legal, commercial, and pricing frameworks
- Capable of leading strategic, cross-functional projects and programs
- Travel expectations 25-50%
- Individual must possess a clean valid state driver's license in order to obtain the position
