Nexus Talent Connect Seeks a Talented and Dynamic Investment Banking Associate for a St. Louis Firm!

As an Investment Banking Associate, you will play a critical role in helping clients, founder-owned and privately held businesses, navigate complex transactions and achieve their strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct detailed industry research and financial analysis to support deal origination and execution 
• Prepare and present pitch books, financial models, and client presentations to assist in the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions. 
• Work closely with senior bankers to structure and negotiate financial terms and deals.
• Coordinate with clients, external advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction processes. 
• Manage and mentor junior staff, including Analysts, as well as our summer internship program, and oversee the preparation of transaction-related documents. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required; an MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus, but not required. 
• Former student athlete candidates preferred. 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related financial advisory role, with a strong focus on M&A transactions 
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• ESOP advisory experience extremely beneficial but not required. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships while working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. 
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. 

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $95,000
• Generous Bonus Potential: Earn 50-100% of your base salary in discretionary bonuses
• Relocation Support: Enjoy a $7,500 bonus if you're moving from outside the St. Louis area
