Neyer Properties is Hiring a Construction Intern Near Cincinnati, OH
Partial List of Responsibilities/Tasks:
Additional Information:This co-op position is paid, full-time, and will be for the Fall 2024 Semester.
- Assist Director of Construction with construction projects including procurement of architectural and engineering services, drawing and specification development, contractor bidding, general contractor scope reviews, awards, construction implementation, quality control and project closeout.
- Assist in the daily activities of planning, implementing, and executing the acquisition and development of Neyer Properties’ development and redevelopment projects.
- Assist in the daily activities of the design and construction of Neyer Properties’ building projects, capital and tenant improvements including site visits.
- Assist with research, due diligence, entitlements and site planning in coordination with acquisitions, development and leasing teams.
- Help plan and manage site infrastructure, project budgeting and schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering major
- Junior or Senior with co-op experience preferred, but not required
- Construction management experience either through previous co-op or courses taken
- Must be proactive in seeking work and developing responsibility
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate ideas and questions
- Possesses organizational skills and an understanding of the importance of timely, accurate information in conjunction with project deadlines enabling ongoing follow through with team members, consultants, and contractors.
