We are a high-volume multi-specialty practice looking for a full-time experienced medical billing/collections specialist to grow our team oriented billing department.

This position requires a strong knowledge and understanding of patient collection practices, medical billing, accounts receivable, and insurance authorizations.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to assisting patients with billing and account balance questions, provide cost estimate of upcoming services from benefits review, monthly report compilation to identify and address delinquent patient account balances, prepare accounts for transfer to outside collections, charge entry, insurance authorizations and other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma

Three to five years’ billing office experience within a practice or hospital setting.

Knowledge of medical terminology

Familiarity with CPT, ICD10

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, self-directed with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
