We are looking for an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Excellent organisational skills and leadership skills are required.
You will support the generic functions and duties of the wider administrative team providing a high-quality secretary/administration service to patients/families, the multidisciplinary sector team and other users of the Service.
You will be expected to communicate effectively with patients/families, clinicians, professionals and other administration staff.
It is desirable that applicants possess supervisory experience and secretarial/administration experience within the NHS or a similar environment. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
The post will be based at CAMHS Melville Unit, Royal Hospital for Children and Young People.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
