The purpose of this position is to ensure students with disabilities learn in an accessible, equitable and inclusive environment. The Director of Accessibility Services ensures that students with disabilities who experience barriers in the design of College programs, services, and facilities have equal access through the provision of accommodations. The Director of Accessibility Services works with each student and the appropriate stakeholders to develop a plan of action and/or accommodation plan with students experiencing barriers by conducting interviews, collaborating with the student, and reviewing medical documentation to develop the plan of equal access. The Director of Accessibility Services partners with students, faculty, and staff to create an inclusive campus community that values the talents and abilities of all people.
