Nice Heating & Air is Hiring a Quality Control Technician Near Lorton, VA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a experienced Quality Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that clients HVAC systems are working properly to manufacturers specifications, while also going to job sites to fix or assist with repairs and/or installs.

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC installations to ensure they meet company standards and industry regulations.
  • Perform functionality tests on HVAC systems to verify proper operation.
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and submit quality control reports to management.
  • Document any deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  • Address customer concerns related to system performance and quality.
  • Conduct follow-up inspections and service calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
  • Analyze inspection and testing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the installation and maintenance teams to implement improvements.
  • Attend regular team meetings to discuss quality control issues and updates.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman or Masters HVAC License
  • Experience with both Service and Installation of HVAC systems
  • Likes to solve complex problems with little to no assistance
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to perform any repair (open system, ductwork, etc.)
  • Loves working long hours
  • Ok with a big workload
  • Able to help with service calls and installs as needed
  • Collaboration with department managers to come up with custom training after running callbacks
