Nicholas and Company Inc. Foodservice is Hiring an Account Manager Near Salt Lake, UT

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our National Accounts team as an Accounts Manager. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall performance of the accounts assigned.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with all internal departments.
  • Develop an understanding of all KPI’s on each contract you are responsible for.
  • Develop an understanding of overall department focus and department customer base.
  • Attend company sponsored events as needed and as requested by senior sales management.
  • Develop a complete understanding of all aspects of each account contract you are responsible for.
  • Develop a complete understanding of the company tactical and goals and objectives strategic goals.
  • Meet weekly with the National Account Manager to review accounts as well as established goals to measure progress.
  • Be a good will ambassador for the company throughout the company distribution territory as well as throughout the industry.
  • Develop a general understanding of all departments. Department walk a mile goal will be established and should be met.
  • Ensure that all contracts are maintained 100% in accordance with the Key Performance Indicators established for the account.
  • Develop a strong relationship with all key contacts with your accounts. On both the corporate and franchisee level as well as the unit’s management.
  • Respond and assist with other projects and needs as asked by Senior Sales Management that will help the betterment of the Sales department and company in general.
  • Balance both office work and unit visitation. 80% administration – 20%-unit visitation this ratio can vary by account and will be reviewed quarterly to ensure accountability.
  • Continue looking for ways to improve efficiencies within the Company. The Program/National Accounts Manager is to foster a team synergy within the Program/National and Public funded Accounts department.
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales or related account executive work.
  • Strong background in customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret RFP’s and contracts.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship buildings skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret company and department sales report.
  • Ability to be motivated as a self-starter who is willing to motivate and empower others to succeed.
