DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns in a professional manner
- Assist with treatment plan presentations and financial discussions with patients
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using Dentrix
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
